Description

Truck Drivers in Canada are responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across local, regional, and long-distance routes while complying with Canadian transportation laws and safety regulations. The role involves operating heavy trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate transport records.

Key responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading and securing cargo, following assigned routes, and adhering to hours-of-service regulations. Truck Drivers must also maintain communication with dispatch, complete logbooks, and report mechanical issues promptly.

Successful candidates should hold a valid Canadian commercial driver’s license (Class 1/A or Class 3, depending on the role), have a strong safety record, and demonstrate reliability and professionalism. Experience with long-haul driving, winter driving conditions, and knowledge of Canadian road regulations is a strong advantage.
